Greg Albrecht Visits Hardriders Biker Church

Have you ever wanted to “get your motor runnin’, head out on the highway” and spend the day talking about Jesus with a group of bikers? That’s exactly what Greg Albrecht did on Sunday, March 9th at the Hardriders Biker Church. Pastors Tatoo Jim and Paula Smith have followed the ministry of PTM for several years, and read Greg’s books. They invited Greg to visit their church. Unlike Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda in the 1969 movie Easy Rider, Greg travelled by air and automobile to the Hardriders Bar in Cabot, Arkansas, north of Little Rock where the Hardriders Biker Church meets (a church member is the bartender, and of course, the bar is closed Sunday mornings for church services). After the morning worship service, two other biker church congregations rode in for a potluck and singing—and another church service in the afternoon! March 9th was also PTM’s annual Day of Prayer for Religious Captives. As it turned out, the Hardriders Biker Church was an ideal place for Greg to celebrate that event. Greg was able to share the gospel with many (like himself) who have, by God’s grace, accepted freedom in Christ, being rescued from a variety of physical and spiritual addictions.
