Question: Dear Greg,

What is your belief about those unsaved who died never getting a chance to accept Christ? In what manner do you think God will judge them?

Do you think aborted babies and infants who die will be resurrected? If so, will they be babies and grow with the opportunity to repent as we have or will they be fully formed?

I understand the grace of God and that in his unlimited kindness and mercy right will be done. However, I’m stumped as to how to answer these questions from non-believers.

Thanks!

Don

Answer: Dear Don,

The question of those whom we feel are unsaved is a dilemma for us all. Plain Truth Ministries believes that God will make righteous provision for all – and that how he does it, and when he does it is not something we understand completely, or perhaps even partially. A similar answer to when life begins, and what will happen to these "who’s" (if they are a "who" yet). The age of accountability is one way that some churches attempt to answer this question. No answer I know of is completely fulfilling.

The fact that God has not revealed every detail of his plan should not cause us as believers to feel that we are trapped, or unable to give an answer for the hope that lies within us. We have been given the major answers to life’s dilemmas and enigmas – including the "answer" – Jesus. We can and do rest secure in him. The onus for answering such peripheral questions is not on believers, for we must remember that if non-believers resort to dealing with such relative trivialities to try to debunk Christianity, then they are driven to do so because they cannot debate or deny the "answer" (Jesus) – and the major issues that Christianity does confront and answer.

Hope this helps, let me know if I can be of further help. May God bless you.

In Christ,

Greg Albrecht
