I was wondering if you have any information on reincarnation and if you believe in reincarnation yourself. I have heard from some good sources on the afterlife and reincarnation and there seems to be some real truth in some of these sayings. Many thanks for your help in the past.

Answer: Dear Bob,

The Bible opposes the foundational teaching of reincarnation – for example, see Hebrews 9:27 ("man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment").

The Bible teaches that sins are forgiven because of the shed blood of our Lord, that he made atonement for us on the cross. Reincarnation teaches that whatever is sown in this life must be reaped in the next life – there are no exceptions. This is part of what is known as "Karma."
