Question: People have been telling me that Saturday is not the true 7th day Sabbath. But they are wrong, right? I mean, Adventism is the continuation of how Jews should live, right?

Answer: Dear Grace,
Your question asks about the "true 7th day" whether there is a "true" day or not is the heart of your question, and in order to properly answer it, we invite you to take a look at many related questions about the 7th day Sabbath we have posted on our website simply click on "Ask Greg" and then the category "Ten Commandments" and then on the questions that interest you. An answer will be provided.
Adventism is not the continuation of how Jews should live. According to the Apostle Paul, the old covenant was given to the Jews, and in order to live under the old covenant one must live under all of it or none of it. There is a small minority of orthodox Jews who attempt to live under the old covenant but, of course, they do not accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We pray that this will help and that God will bless you. Please let us know if you have further questions.
In Christ,
Greg Albrecht
