            Do you have the first Bible ever written?  If not, then how can you prove/claim that the current Bible has never changed and remained the same throughout the ages?

Answer:  Dear Korim,

            No original autographs exist, as you note.  But the veracity of the bible does not rely upon the antiquity of documents.  The message of the Bible is true and authentic.  Written by many authors over more than three thousand years, the Bible does not contradict itself.  Authors who wrote did not always have earlier writings in front of them when they wrote.  In spite of that, their writings agree with and do not contradict earlier writers.  This could not have “just happened.”

            Fulfilled prophecy proves the Bible, for later writers record as history what earlier writers, inspired by God, prophesied to come to pass.  Secular history and archaeology confirm that the cultures and historical events mentioned by biblical writers are one and the same as discovered and authenticated by history.

            The Bible and its events are equally, or in fact, more true than Alexander the Great, Socrates, Caesar Nero, Augustine, etc.  The same historiography that proves their existence proves the Bible.
