Answer:  Dear Travis,

            The brief answer, according to the Bible, is to believe in and accept Jesus Christ. 

            The longer answer, necessary for our generation, includes a definition of why we need to be saved, and why we need to believe in and accept Christ, and what exactly is involved in believing and accepting Christ.  That is, believing and accepting Christ is not as easy as it may sound, for it involves all of our lives.  An oft repeated phrase goes something like this—“If Christ is not Lord of all (of our lives), he isn’t Lord at all.”
