Dear Greg,
My
beloved brother in Christ, will you please give more light on where infants go
when they die? Recently a couple in
my church lost a baby on their way to labor. The baby didn’t even have the
chance to see the light of day.

Answer: Dear Ernesto,
The
Bible does not give us a specific answer, other than the guiding principle that
God is love, he is just, fair and merciful.
We must then decide whether it is just, fair, merciful and loving for
babies, or even the unborn, to somehow be consigned to some eternal condition of
punishment, torment, etc. I realize
that some do, that some believe in such a thing, but the Bible gives no
specifics at all, one way or the other. If
we believe in the Bible there is no need to fear the worst, for God will provide
for all those questions we cannot answer. That’s
why he is God and we are not!
