Answer:  Dear Roger,

            Basic and quick answer—the kingdom of God is the sovereign rule of God residing in the hearts of men and women everywhere who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  The kingdom is present now, as Christ lives his life in children of God everywhere, but its fulfillment will take place when Christ returns to this earth a second time.  Thus the kingdom of God is already, but not yet.
