Answer:  Dear Jairo,

            Officially responsible—the Romans, for it was against the law for Jews to execute anyone.  The Jewish religious authorities encouraged, manipulated and incited the crowd against Jesus, and thus exerted pressure on the Romans.  In a broader sense, we all killed Christ, for the Romans and the Jews are every man and every woman who, by our carnal nature (Romans 8:7) resist God and hate his ways.
