Question:  Dear Greg,

            Recently I was baptized by the Holy Spirit.  During the baptism I was slain in the spirit and unconscious.  I could feel another person inside me at that moment.  Four days later I was alone, thinking and talking to God and that same feeling came upon me again as if it was taking control over me.  I managed to get control.

            Why is this happening to me?

Answer:  Dear JCM,

            The Bible does not tell us that God--God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit controls us or takes over in some way.  God leads us, prompts us, urges us—but God does not control us.  PTM cautions against the kind of experiences you describe because the Bible gives us no evidence that such experiences are from God.
