Truth Ministries has a great course titled “Experiencing the Word—A Daily
Devotional Journey through the Bible.”
The
course is, as it is titled, written as an inductive learning tool.
That is, each of the 43 volumes asks the reader to read a passage—of a
chapter or more--then the course poses insightful questions about the text that
has just been read. This approach
helps the reader learn directly from the Bible, engaging the reader in the
discovery process, without spoon-feeding in a textbook fashion.
Each
volume gives an introduction to the book or books of the Bible that are covered
in that volume, with information about the author, the cultural and historical
background of each book, the time setting, etc.
Each volume is illustrated with charts and maps and is 64 pages in
length.
