            Can we get everyone in the world to believe in the truth of Jesus Christ?

Answer:  Dear Mark,

            The truth is Jesus Christ, who is the way and the truth and the life (John 14:6).  Christians are not charged with the duty of influencing every mind in the world to accept Christ.  We are given the opportunity to be lights and salt in our world, yielding to Jesus Christ so that he might live his life in us, that others might see Him, the Light of the world, as he shines through us.  We do not produce or generate the Light, we simply reflect it.

            Our job is not to influence or persuade or “make” every mind in the world believe in Jesus.  That’s God’s job.  We simply ask Christ to lead his life in us.
