            I hear about churches winning souls for Christ.  I can’t find where churches win souls in the Bible.

            Please explain.

Answer:  Dear Terry,

            The term is “in-speak”, not meant to be biblically specific or accurate in terms of precise meaning.  It speaks of those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  It would not be the only term that many churches use that does not have direct biblical authentication—in this case the term does not do injustice to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  On the other hand, there are terms and language which some use that does violence to the gospel, and there is cause for concern in those situations.
