Doesn’t the Bible teach that the
kingdom

God
is here now—that is, in each Christian?
If so, what is Christ coming to establish?

Christ is in all Christians, so is the
kingdom
of
God
here now? “…the
kingdom
of
God
is in you…”

Dear
Anthony,
The Bible teaches that the
kingdom
of
God
is both present and future. It is
already, but not yet. The kingdom
is within us—it is in us in the person of Jesus Christ who lives his life
within us. The kingdom is present
when men and women of God yield to him and his will is done—on earth as in
heaven. However, the fullness of
the kingdom is not yet here. The
daily newspaper tells us that. The
fullness of the kingdom will arrive at the Second Coming of our Lord and
Savior.
