Q/A: ...What are we to believe about homosexuality?  I think it is unnatural and sinful to the core.  Of course, anyone dealing with this should be shown love and compassion, but how can it be tolerated in the church?  We are all sinners, but how can one receive Christ and turn away from sin while continuing a lifestyle of sin?  Isn?t ?Gay Christian? an oxymoron?  There is much written to the contrary.  Please help. - Steve

Q/A: I am an African from Nigeria.  Sometimes I feel that God has been unfair to Blacks.  I know the Bible sees it otherwise.  As a Roman Catholic I believe in Marian apparitions.  One thing she said is that AIDS is a punishment for man?s practice of homosexuality.  I fully agree with the Holy Virgin and Mother of God.  My question is: why is it that AIDS appears to kill people only in the developing and poorest countries of the world such as Zaire, South Africa, etc.?  I live in Europe (Germany to be specific) and here homosexuality and lesbianism are accepted forms of life.  It is only in the western world that homosexuality is not only practiced but celebrated?remember the annual gay parade?  Are Black people chosen by God to suffer for the sins of the entire world community?  Homosexuality is practiced in Africa but not celebrated.  Homosexuals in Africa do not go about recruiting new members like in Europe and the USA. - Kevin

Q/A: Thank you very much for providing this chance for people like me to ask openly and learn openly.  I?ve read your comments about the practice of homosexuality being sin without debating the issue of how the orientation came about.  My question is: what is ?practice??  Is it the act of sex?  What if there is no sexual activity between two members of the same sex who were ?practicing? before but not any longer, but are still unable to part ways out of deep affection? - Jay

Q/A: Can homosexuals be saved?  Is homosexual practice like any other sin or is it greater than other sins? - Kermit

Q/A: I was reading your statements about homosexuality.  I don?t understand what you mean by ?homosexual orientation is not a sin in itself.? Because the Bible says in Leviticus 18:22 ?You (meaning another man) shall not lie with a male as with a woman.  It is an abomination.?  And in Leviticus 20:13 it says ?If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman both of them have committed an abomination.  They shall surely be put to death.  Their blood shall be upon them.?  Another one is 1 Corinthians 6:9.  If it weren?t a sin then why would they be killed?  Can you please describe what you mean by ?homosexual orientation is not a sin in itself? so I can better understand? - Dena

Q/A: Do you believe that a person can be a Christian, saved, and live a homosexual lifestyle?  Doesn?t the Bible say that there will be no homosexuals entering the gates of heaven?  I have a friend who believes that since he is saved, he can live however he wishes and the blood of Jesus will cover it. - Garry

Q/A: I am attending a local United Methodist Church.  One of the issues confronting the church is the ?same sex marriage? and homosexuality.  I believe the Bible to be God?s inspired Word and absolute.  I have found it rather difficult to talk to some people about the issues who do not have strong convictions about the absolute truthfulness of God?s Word. Do you have any recommendations as to how I may discuss these sensitive issues from the ?non-Biblical? standpoint to point out the seriousness of the matter?  Sometimes I get the feeling people take me as a ?Christian fundamentalist and discount my opinion.  I am truly concerned about the degradation of the moral values in the U.S. Tak Okabe
