Q/A: About a year ago I started to notice that more and more of the Plain Truth articles are attacking other beliefs.  I thought you were to love your neighbor, not try to let the world know how wrong you think he is.  I guess what really got to me was an article about being left behind.  As far as I can tell all you were trying to do is let the world know just how stupid you think most Christians are.  Plain Truth was much better when it tried to teach the Bible and when it was not trying to shove it down our throats.  I don’t think I want to read it anymore.  If you ever get to teaching the Bible again let me know. - Jeff

Q/A: I have read the Jan-Feb 2002 issue of the Plain Truth and found the article entitled “Fundamentalism: Breeding Ground for Fanaticism?” very unsettling and more than a little unfair to those who call themselves Fundamental Christians.  From what I gathered from the article, it seemed like the article was comparing the Taliban to the Independent Bible Fundamentalists that are in our country.  I understand that you did not write the article, but I am wondering how the two can be compared when they are totally different?  It seems like the writer of the article does not know what a true Bible Fundamentalist believes.  With that in mind, that will create confusion to those who don’t know.  I will not get into everything, but on the last page of the article he equates David Koresh and Jim Jones with Bible Fundamentalists.  These men were not, in any way, representatives of a true Bible Fundamentalist.... What do you think about this article and subject?  Thank you for your time in discussing this subject and for reading my E-mail. - Mike

Q/A: I have always had a certain amount of respect for “The Plain Truth”, though we differ on certain things, but I am totally horrified and shocked to read the issue dealing with whether or not pets go to heaven!!! ... NO, WAY, NO WAY can animals enter into Heaven.  If God created animals in Heaven that would be one thing, but dead animals would never have a resurrection because they cannot believe, repent or be saved!!! - Violet

Q/A: One question I have, relates to the advertising. I think that some of your advertisers are the type that play upon some rather unsound precepts and nudge the boundary of good taste in terms of preying upon peoples' fears and uncertainties in times of health and economic trials. And secondly, I find your ads are visually distracting from the messages. I'm not against advertising as a form of supporting the magazine. - Grant

Q/A: Are you selling your subscription mailing list to other Christian groups? I am beginning to get mail from the Christian Right and you are one of only two places where they could have gotten my name and address. - Harry

Q/A: I just found Plain Truth today. I just want to ask you: How did you and the people you work with now start the magazine? How did you find each other? Where did you start? I am just curious to know what brought about this great magazine. - Jeff
