Q/A:
1 Corinthians 6:3 mentions
something like this, “we shall judge angels.”
Who is “we”? Are there
“bad” angels? Who are these
angels that need to be judged?
Q/A:
I read in a book that Satan
is trying to remove God’s restraining power from the world.
Is this true? In order to do
so, he would have to kill true Christians. Do
true Christians assist God in restraining evil on earth?
I am thinking that there would still be some restraining power even if
all God’s people were terminated. Does
a true Christian pay a higher price for the same sin committed by a
non-Christian? The Bible implies
that when Christ returns, there would be some dead in Christ rising from the
graves and some still alive. Does
the adversary tempt God’s chosen more than those who reject him?
Q/A:
I would like to know if it
is possible for people to be able to communicate with the deceased.
TV shows psychic Sylvia Brown, for example, claims to be able to
communicate with the dead. Does God
allow this ability? As I recall, the
Bible says to stay away from psychics and witchcraft.
A person has to wonder about this. Could
you help me shed a little light on this topic?
Q/A: I have been having this discussion with a friend of mine about seeing demons. I have had many instances when I have seen demons and spirits manifesting. This has only happened when I have been praying and when I have seen them I have them cast out and out they go. I sincerely believe that this is a level of discernment, as it only happens when it is actually needed—indeed, useful. My friend, however, believes that as soon as we step inside a place, even before we’ve got there, because of the authority we have in Christ and also because darkness and light cannot share the same place, the demons go. He also says that nowhere in the Bible will you find any instances of demons manifesting.... - Colin
Q/A:
In the ministry God has
placed me in I’m currently preaching/teaching on the war in heaven and the
fall of Satan and his angels. My
question is this: our God is a loving, forgiving God.
If Satan and his angels asked for forgiveness for the rebellion, would
they have been reinstated in God’s kingdom or is God’s plan of
salvation/redemption reserved just for the human race?
Please advise.
Q/A:
I heard a sermon about
prayer. Several things confused me
and I was wondering what your opinion was. One
thing the minister stated was the only way anyone can be saved is if someone
else prays for them. Then he said
that God is not interested in building the church but in building the kingdom.
He also said that a passive Christian is under demonic powers while an
aggressive Christian is free from demonic powers.
Q/A: I have a question on Satan
and his demons. When they were cast
out of heaven, where were they cast? The
earth or hell?
Q/A: Should a Christian hate Satan? Does God hate Satan? Could Satan repent and be forgiven? If God is called the Eternal, does this mean that he is the ONLY being that has eternal life? - M.G.
Q/A: Our church has begun heavy use of “Deliverance Ministries” type materials. I am concerned at this and have begun an in-depth search to come to a better understanding of my own. The trouble is although there is a lot of material on the web in opposition to this ministry view, our church leaders say that this opposition comes from people with a very “legalistic stance” (whatever that really means!). The trouble is that they even say to me that I have to be careful reading opposing views because the devil can deceive me from the truth. How do I know which way is the truth and also what is a gentle way of showing our church this truth? - Grant
Q/A:
Recently
I was baptized by the Holy Spirit. During
the baptism I was slain in the spirit and unconscious.
I could feel another person inside me at that moment.
Four days later I was alone, thinking and talking to God and that same
feeling came upon me again as if it was taking control over me.
I managed to get control.
Q/A:
I was watching a TV show
today about spirits and ghosts and haunted houses.
I have wondered for years what this is all about.
These spirits that people see—is it just their imagination, just something
that makes for good movies, or is there really something to this?
Do the spirits of dead people really roam around in certain places or
not? What are your feelings on
this? What does the Bible say on
the subject? - Edward
Q/A: Some kids in our Youth Group are inquiring about
“ghosts” and whether or not they truly exist.
Does the Bible address this and if so, what passages?
Q/A: How should we use the blood
of Jesus when praying for protection? We
were getting a lot of spiritual attacks on us.
Since praying for the blood of Jesus it’s stopped.
What does the Bible say about it, and what is your idea on it?
Q/A: This is a belief I have heard for the first time and I would
like to know your view on it. I was
told that the devil CANNOT read your mind.
He can only act on the things you say out loud.
The example I heard was someone that experienced bad dreams and during a
dream once they demanded the evil spirit to leave in God’s name and then she
quit talking about it. She no
longer has the bad dreams. I would
love to hear what you have to say and if you can recommend some passages on this
topic. - Tricia
Q/A: ...My question regards
demons. I have a Christian friend who has a roommate supposedly demon-possessed. I
personally have never had any contact with demons and dont want any, but she has
extensive experience from what she tells me. My question is, why would a Christian
voluntarily live with a demon-possessed individual? I know my friend wants to help this
person, but I dont think it is wise to live with such a person. I know as a
Christian we dont have to fear such things, but I dont think we should welcome
demonic activity with open arms either. I dont really expect you to tell me what she
may be thinking, but Im just confused by her apparent acceptance of this situation
as no big deal and wonder, is she putting herself (and her children) in jeopardy? Your
comments would be appreciated. - Alex Q/A: Thanks for the
great job you all do. Please would you help clarify the difference between demons and
fallen angels. There is a school of thought that says there is a difference between demons
on the one hand and fallen angels on the other hand. And there is the school of thought
that says demons and fallen angels are the same. The school of thought that says demons
are different from fallen angels says that fallen angels are (for lack of a better term) a
race or inhabitants of the earth, i.e. pre-humans. But they (demons) are spirits. - Samson Q/A: I have a coworker who
is convinced that a Christians body and soul can be possessed by demons. Is this
true? He also said that any Christian can cast out demons. Is this true? I am trying to
find out what the Bible has to say about it and I would love any help you could give me. Q/A: When Christ told Peter "get
behind me Satan" do you think it was because Satan might have been using Peter to
hurt Christ feelings? What I mean is, Christ knew there was nothing Peter could do to help
him. I couldn't think of anything that would break my heart more than seeing one of my
children trying to help me out of a bad situation knowing full well all along they
couldn't. Do you think this was done by Satan to add insult to injury or is it something
else? Thanks in advance. - Dan
Q/A: ...I find it very difficult to imagine that the God of
all good and Creation would, in fact, have created evil.
There is a major “misconnect” here that I have major problems with.
Evil had to come form somewhere originally, and my question is: what is
that origin? Satan was, presumably,
created by God, so where did the evil element or force come from if Satan was
good to begin with???
Q/A: Isaiah 45:7 indicates that God may have created evil. "I am the one who creates the light and the darkness. I am the one who sends good times and bad" (New Living). Did God create evil? Also where in scripture is found the story of the fall of Lucifer? - Diane
