PTM WEEKLY UPDATE -- MARCH 10, 2008
What our readers and listeners say
Is Christianity Without the Religion a "real" church?
Your recent article was RIGHT ON!!! I am totally pleased that someone thinks that way -- thanks for the fellowship. God bless. -- MississippiState of grace discussion
Thank you so much for the discussion on grace. It was great fun to listen to as well as seriously consider many misunderstandings about God's dynamic grace through Jesus. Jesus is certainly doing breathtaking global work through Plain Truth Ministries and many other "recovering Pharisees." Praise God Almighty for breaking the "power brokers" of religion and other global powers that be. -- WashingtonJust what do you mean -- "one true church"?
I love the good old common sense that you show as well as Scripture to back it up. Good job! -- EmailPTM Weekly Update format
Thanks for the new set-up on your PTM Weekly Update. I like it. It's much easier to access what I have time or interest in reading. Keep up all your great work. God bless your ministry as you continue to reach out to so many who need to hear your healing words, approach and perspective. You have been a healing salve for me over the past 2-3 years as I have healed from toxic religious legalism. I do appreciate your ministry and have been financially supporting you. I plan to continue to do so. My prayers are with you to continue making a great and positive difference to many more folks. -- EmailI have been deeply moved by many of your answers to those of us who have questions. I can well imagine the time and effort, research, prayer and thought that goes into each answer to make it fit the particular individual's question. We do tend to judge most problems by our own circumstances and when I read the chaplain's answers in the discussion with you it was apparent that he had a mindset and was sticking to it. Early on in the discussion he ran out of anything to say to refute your logic and basically repeated himself. My heart goes out to him and the gracious English lady who wrote in response to his comments. I pray that the chaplain gets to read her letter and see her plight and the plight of multiple millions around the world. I don't intend to beat up on the chaplain, but I think if he reads her letter he might understand how cold some of his remarks came across. All God's blessings on the chaplain, the English lady and you. -- Ohio
