Is there a difference between serving the Lord and serving a church?
Does God expect us to demonstrate our commitment to Christ by involvement in an organization? We may show commitment to an organization by involvement, but can we equate an organization with Christ? When people are involved in serving the Lord outside the boundaries of an organized religious group, such service is often not recognized or valued.
Christianity Without the Religion
Join Pastor Greg Albrecht at www.ptm.org for a new and revolutionary kind of church service. No assembly required . . . at any specific geographic location. Christianity Without the Religion (CWR) comes to you where you are-- a fresh, new approach to weekly worship. Here's just a sample of what you'll experience with CWR.
This week's Plain Truth radio schedule
Plain Truth
radio offers biblically based insight -- insisting on the basic, core teachings of Christianity -- while asking if the gospel is getting lost in religion. Plain Truth radio is all about the main and plain teachings of Jesus Christ. Plain Truth radio is Christianity without the religion. If you can handle the truth, listen to Greg Albrecht on Plain Truth radio. Greg Albrecht is a voice -- not an echo!

Fear-based, shame-based guilt-trip-sending religion
Where exactly does the idea that the devil has limitless power over us come from? Are Christians lost without a specific church intervening and providing a "covering" for them? This idea serves the interest of authoritarian, oppressive religion and its leaders.
Homosexuality and the ministry
A young minister struggles with homosexuality -- and wonders if the rollercoaster of sin and repentance will ever end.
An online interview with Shack author Paul Young
Join Greg Albrecht online in this second interview with Paul Young. For those who have read the book, Paul shares insights on the meaning and message of The Shack. Warning: this interview gives away parts of the plot!
Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?
A kidnapped daughter is presumed dead. Her father is overwhelmed with grief and anger. When a letter, apparently from God, invites him to the scene of the crime, Mack can’t help but go, and what he finds there will astound you -- and perhaps transform you as much as it did him! This story by William P. Young is a must-read, and you'll want everyone you know to read it! Find out more about this incredible book and how to order your copy.
How shock musician Marilyn Manson lost his Christianity
Goth musician Marilyn Manson reveals how years of false teaching about the return of Christ -- and the apocalyptic conspiracy theories that enhance such teaching -- left him feeling abused, cheated and eventually caused him to reject Christianity.
"Jesus tells the uppity religious folk a thing or two"
The Hillbilly Bible is a wonderfully creative paraphrase that gives fresh meaning and fresh perspective on Scripture that you may have read many times before.
