PTM WEEKLY UPDATE -- JUNE 29, 2009
What our readers and listeners say
Lost and found
I felt so lost until I found your ministry on the Internet. Now I can truly see. Thank you so much! -- TexasFreedom in Christ
I just wanted you to know how you have helped me. When I hear you talking freedom in Christ, you explain grace in such a way that I can grasp God's love for me better than I ever have before!! Thank you for your wonderful ministry. I am so grateful I can listen to you every day on your website. May God bless you and PTM! In Christian Love -- New YorkAttend Church -- or Else
I absolutely loved the first article in the June 22 PTM Weekly Update,"Attend Church -- or Else." A couple of weeks ago I did not go to church. Instead I drove several hours to attend a surprise 90th birthday party the family was giving for a very dear friend. I had a great time and so did the birthday girl. The next week I went to church and told a fellow church-goer why I hadn't been to church the last week. The reply was, "That was the best thing you could have done. You didn't miss much anyway." The one who said it? The Pastor.
Also, I finished the three podcasts you had with Stephen Sizer. He said something I was happy to hear because it was something I've been thinking for some time. That was, the Bible isn't written TO us but FOR us. If we get the right perspective on it, maybe we won't have so much problem with the newspaper headlines. What you both said also reinforced my feeling that most of the rapture/tribulation teaching seems to ignore Jesus Christ and what he did. Thanks to both you and Stephen Sizer for three great pobcasts. God Bless, -- New YorkRETURN TO PTM WEEKLY UPDATE CONTENTS PAGE
