PTM hosts Dr. Bishara Awad, president of Bethlehem Bible College

Dr. Bishara Awad, President of Bethlehem Bible College (BBC), visited PTM on Monday, September 29. Located in the birthplace of our Lord, BBC is noteworthy as a Christian Palestinian educational institution within the modern nation of Israel. In a dark world of religious and ethnic conflict between Jew and Muslim, Dr. Awad and Bethlehem Bible College provide a shining light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Greg Albrecht interviewed Dr. Awad, and the two podcasts will soon be available at www.ptm.org. Greg Albrecht and Monte Wolverton (treasurer and managing editor of PTM) had lunch with Dr. Awad, discussing ways that PTM could further assist and support the efforts of BBC. On behalf of Friends and Partners of PTM, whose generosity helped make the gift possible, Greg Albrecht presented Dr. Awad with a donation to help with the ongoing needs of BBC. Earlier this summer, in anticipation of Dr. Awad's visit to California, Greg helped introduce Dr. Awad to administrators and faculty of Azusa Pacific University (APU). Greg was able to join Dr. Awad at APU the day after his visit to PTM. Dr. Awad gave two lectures and joined a select group of faculty, administrators and guests for lunch -- including APU President Jon Wallace and Acting Dean of Theology Russell Duke (who along with his wife Phyllis are PTM Partners).
